Devonshire House is a small guest house with cosy bedrooms and a good continental breakfast served in-room. The hosts are welcoming, although parking is limited. The rooms are clean, elegant, and spa (Read More)cious with luxurious linen and towels. The guest house is conveniently located, only a 15-minute walk from Bath city centre and close to parks, countryside, restaurants, and shops. Overall, a pleasant and well-managed place to stay.

Easy, comfortable and welcoming stay with a great, healthy breakfast

Very helpful hosts! Their communication was excellent and I was able to enter property late without any trouble. They were also able to accommodate my dietary requirements and give me a delicious, filling breakfast. The explained clearly where I could park and had written instructions for me. Comfortable bed, warm room and quiet despite being on a main road.

It exceeded my expectations and I would stay there if I was to go to Bath again. No complaints about anything.

Room was lovely and clean and comfy and hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Could have done with an in between sized towel for hairdrying, and a hair dryer - but to be fair - I didn't ask if they had one!!

Perfect location for a weekend in Bath. Clean, comfortable and very welcoming

Room was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for 2 friends sharing. The continental breakfast was really good, so much to eat it really set us up for the day. Louise was very welcoming and it was no problem us getting there early and being able to park nearby and just leave the car for the weekend and walk into Bath was a bonus. We will definitely book again. Thank you

We enjoyed our visit.

Clean. Breakfast (5 GBP per person) was good. Helpful hostess.

Nice walk downhill into town. Going back uphill was much harder. There is a direct bus. Older house, space is limited.

Greeted by Chris on arrival who gave me all the info I needed to enjoy my stay in the B&B as well as what to explore around Bath. Super friendly, clean, lovely room and all necessities provided for my stay. It was a lovely stroll down into town with pubs, cafe's and express supermarkets all in close proximity to the property. The walk back from town was fine for me (it is up hill but didn't bother me really) so I didn't use the public transport or taxi's. Would definitely stay here again if I go back to Bath... Thank you!

Nice cottage looking house, we would certainly come back.

Chris (owner) accommodation is really nice, as well as his assistance with anything you need: from touristic tips until parking support. The location, although not central, is easy to reach: 5 stops to the city center with any bus and just 8-9 with a taxi on the way back (20-25 min walking if you prefer, but have in mind you would be walking up a hill in the way back) The house, cottage looking, is eye catching. The rooms are big and comfortable (we rented 2 doubles). The bath is really spacious and the quality of both bedclothes and towels was high. We did not take any breakfast, but it looked amazing: coffee, fruits, cereal; more than enough. I rarely give a 10 to an accommodation but this one has definitely earned it. No surprise, as Chris is an 20 year experienced hotel man. Happy to come back next time.

Although known and expected, the parking situation is bad. No reason for a bad review or negative comment, but for a warning for everybody who books this BECAUSE of the parking offer. The free spots are very limited (may be 4-5 cars) and of course all most likely to be taken (cause they are free). The parking house, approx 200m far from the house is alright, but you need to pay in CASH, which - for many people - might be a problem.
