I was very pleased and have scheduled an additional four days in Feb

Breakfast area was under construction, but temp location was clean, food was very well presented and tasty, and there was plenty of seating. Staff very helpful. Rooms clean and well decorated

Room requires one mor garbage can by the desk.

Overall pretty nice

Easy to get to, heart of Captolia and very nice and safe location. The staff was very pleasant and mostly helpful . Check in was very easy and pleasant

Some of the staff didnt help some were great. The eating facilities werent big enough. There were 4 of us and we couldnt eat together. We had a hard time at breakfast.

I always stay at this property when I visit my parents. It's in a great location at a good price.

The staff was first-rate. Friendly, helpful, a joy to interact with them. Very comfortable room.

A microwave in the breakfast room would be nice, to heat my coffee a bit more or to soften the refrigerated butter.

Capitola Weekend

The rates were good. The beds were comfortable. Short walk to our relatives' house, the beach/park, and food. The waffle maker was nice when we found it.

The bath mat in the shower and the rug between the beds grossed me out. The rug was dirty. Breakfast was ok, but I've had better. It was a little confusing that the breakfast was spread out in so many places. You could also hear noise pretty clearly through the walls. We heard conversations multiple times.

Solid Santa Cruz Hotel

We stayed overnight for an evening event that was nearby. The rooms were spacious and modern. The floors were hardwood floor so it might be a good idea to bring slippers if you get cold feet. Hot breakfast and the eating area are typical of Best Western fare. However, there are a lot of really good breakfast/brunch places in Santa Cruz area that its better to explore if you can.
