Indifferent

The facility was nice. We had read so much about the wonderful hospitality and welcoming people received. We did not experience that. Found the one person staff was indifferent and not very helpful , Starting with just getting into the house. No directions on how to turn on the heat in the very cold room. We found the thermostat did not do anything and the fireplace was the old heat. Breakfast was just okay and we were never asked if we wanted coffee or tea.

It was a wonderful experience..even better the second time!

I liked how spacious and comfortable the room was. The bathtub was very clean and big. Also we had wonderful breakfasts each of the mornings we were there. Everything was fresh and delicious. Probably the best bed and breakfast in town hands down.

The room just had some minor things that needed fixing from age. Like the windows that wined outward. There was two bed pillows that weren't comfortable but the other two were just fine. We still slept good though.

We loved the historic charm and uniqueness that we got to experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The bathroom was big and the room felt like a home with the sitting area and fireplace. Very cozy and quaint! The breakfast was delicious as they brought it to our room. If you like boutique stays the Inn at Depot Hill is an excellent choice!

The room was cold but we discovered that we left the window open.

Friendly staff and great location but not great value for money.

Very quirky and interesting with a great history.

Our room was right next to the kitchen; was noisy in the morning as staff arrived early to prepare breakfasts and the trolleys would all be lined up directly outside our door. No kettle in the room. No choice for breakfast and no easy way for communication as the office was often shut.

Wonderful inn and we just loved it!

The site was beautiful and easy to access. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was extremely comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for. The location was so close to the downtown area without being caught up in the noise. It was a perfect stay.

It is quiet, comfortable and close to the beach so it is easy to relax and enjoy some down time. It is not too far from home (but the drive over the hill is getting worse). It was easy to book at the last minute. The wine and cheese was a nice touch in the evening. Breakfast in the room made us feel special.

The limited parking and steep drive way transitions (my car is low and would scrape - so that is not too unusual).

Love the area but most likely won't return to this inn unless a great special and different room

A suggestion would be to get preference example my husband doesn't eat tomatoes and the 2nd day breakfast neither of us really eat eggs Benedict. If could get a choice maybe have 2 selections to choose from!

We were NOT told before hand that our room had a set up where you had to step up a high step then sit and swing legs into get in the shower not only gets dangerous but I have a bad knee. We stayed at this property before in the blue and white room and never expected a even more expensive room would have this. Also states ocean view which it really is not
