Glad it's closing down soon in January'24 - needs a total overhaul and change.

Proximity to Crypto.com Arena.

We travelled to LA from Sydney - for a three week long trip and this was the starting stay for us as a couple. We stayed 5 nights at Loft Studio at Floor 13th. The hotel is announced to close down in January after our booking which now makes better sense as it's pretty worn out and outdated in many ways - compared to other Ace hotels I have stayed and the new fancy Ace Hotel in Sydney. We picked the location due to proximity to Cryptocom Arena knowing already the area was not extremely safe - that's definitely a downer for anyone who is not familiar with the homeless situation in California and US in general. Streets are full of homeless, drug addicts and people roaming high and this may be intimidating for most people. The hotel doesn't have a valet service and there is no hotel parking - you need to find a place to park your car and deal with the homeless around and pay stupidly high fees on top. The hotel room despite being great in size was very worn down and outdated in terms of facilities. It also didn't feel clean unfortunately. Plumbing and shower had problems as well.

Had a great time which was made possible by the human staff assisting.

The room was clean and comfortable, the location was perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful.

I am disappointed that the hotel will be replaced by an automated system.

An amazing accomodation but a bit tired, nice staff in general Christopher (Upstairs) is hilarious.

Beautiful building with lots of character and a stunning rooftop.

Lifts are a tad slow, bathroom seem to missing a hook or two.

Not like the ace in Palm Springs but it gets the job done.

The name and location. Front desk staff was very nice.

It was very dark, bar wasnt open very long. Security guard was rude.

We enjoyed the room and facilities.

I liked the overall experience with the stay.

The music in the Loam cafe. It was frustrating and annoying that the music wasnt right. It was in the morning and we were going to have a relaxing start. The music was loud and too energetic that we both felt like we were in a cycling gym. So we couldnt really enjoy being in the cafe.
