Great stay in the City of London

Great location in the city of London. Close to transport. Lovely room. Very big and good size bathroom with complimentary bottles and nice fluffy towels.

Shame no lift as on top floor but understandable due to age of the property. The safe did not work in the room.

Nice

Good location, clean room, very friendly staff. At the time we were there pub was closed due to NY holidays. The walls are so thin, you can hear everybody above your room, or next to you.

Celebrations in London for 70th birthday

Location near to tube stations. Nearby facilities. We had a lovely meal in the pub the day we arrived and reasonably priced for London. Although the pub was busy the staff made sure we were welcome and the service was great

Great value in a great location

Lovely room - comfortable and spacious for the price and location. Comfortable bed. Really nice bathroom. Complementary snacks. Feels cozy and tucked away. Easy access to the whole of London via Farringdon Station which is 3 mins walk

Not the quietest neighbourhood but that has its attractions too

The decor and style of the accommodation, the atmosphere and food served in the bar. Perfect location.

Nothing really to speak of, I would definitely return and I recommend The One Tun to anyone.

Great position and excellent staff

The location is wonderful for where we wanted to be. The staff were fabulous and always happy to help, both in the Hotel area and the bar, can't fault any of them. A credit to the establishment. Decor lovely in all rooms. Our friends had rooms on the 1st floor which were lovely and large and big bathrooms whereas we had the attic room which was much smaller for the same price.

Unfortunately as women nearing 70 our room was on the 3rd floor (no lifts).so 6 flights of stairs!!! Also the walls appeared to be very thin and we could hear next door sneezing/having a shower/switching lights on and off. Drink facilities in the room we're very good with complimentary snacks chocolate and water. But only 2 breakfast teas with the rest being herbal and the same with the milk (soya) luckily the lady who cleans the rooms was very helpful and we swapped for traditional tea and fresh milk (we were told by the booking in staff we could ask for fresh milk but the thought of going up and down the stairs......) Also our room much smaller than our friends rooms!! We were only there for 1 night so not much of a problem.

Started well but ended badly.

Location was great for what we needed. Decor was also great.

Woken at 5am to what seemed like someone having a workout on the floor above. This went on for over 2 hours. There were a possible of three other bedrooms above ours and the soundproofing was non existent. Such a shame but that needs addressing.
