Munich thaws during this time after the winter snow and you can experience warm weathers without the deluge of tourists. A late spring visit will be ideal for the biergartens and open-air cafes. Munich could actually be regarded as an all year round visit place, since the Bavarian city has something on offer across the twelve months. June- August is Munich's high tourism season, with temperatures and footfall on the rise. Beer lovers should definitely plan their visit during the Oktoberfest months of September - November. It is advisable to make hotel reservations a year in advance for availabilty and reasonable prices! If you can sustain the temperature drop, Munich is worth a visit even during December - February.
