Quirky hotel in great location.

Weve bern here snd enjoy the jazz themed rooms and decor. Quite spacious and comfortable rooms, very clean bathroom. The cafe has a range of beers and makes great G&Ts (and good coffee in the morning) and the toasted sandwiches are awesome. Was very good value for the city location - on a booking.com special anyway.

Nothing much, but the tortuous route from lobby to rooms was s bit weird.

Perfect fireworks watching spot!

Amazing location! We stayed the NYE and watched the fireworks from our balcony. The Coltrane room was great, spacious bed (there is another bed available by the way). The aircon works well. The kitchen has most things but not for full cooking. I particularly want to thank Jada at the reception. I complained about the fact that I got a different room (the picture of the balcony was different). Jada was extremely professional. She explained that the picture was different and offered a complementary bottle of wine. I actually feel so bad about complaining because the room was perfect for the NY stay as it looks on to the Flagstaff gardens.

The pictures have to be accurate. The fridge in the kitchen is tiny. There is almost no point in booking an apartment with a kitchen because you will have no space to store your food in.

Poor stay. Would not revisit.

Location.

Attention to detail in hotel room. There were missing globes in several different lights. We asked for an extra bed for an adult and instead received a toddlers cot. When requesting a change of bed, they had no spares available at all. They then offered a free drink voucher for soft drinks, but gave us hot beverage vouchers instead. Just very average to say the least.

Very good

I loved the vibe of the hotel and fitout of my room. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was great. I enjoyed the jazz streaming over breakfast!

I found the mattress too soft and consequently didn't sleep very well. A portable luggage stand for my suitcase would have been helpful.

Cocktail bar. View. Pretty decor.

My drink bottle spilt in my suitcase on my outfit prior to a concert. I followed directions on the washer/ drier to dry my clothing and it got stuck on a 3 hour wash dry cycle. Super stressful.

Nice apartment hotel in central Melbourne

Our first room smelled like cigarette smoke and the dishwasher was broken so they moved us to another room that was much better. Good location and good amenities for downtown Melbourne with a nice view from the balcony.

A great place to stay

A cool theme, and the decor was well done to match. Nice little cafe/bar downstairs with a small but adequate breakfast menu. Bed was comfy, and it was good to have some park/gardens across the road. Close to the CBD, tram stops outside and a train station less than 100 meters away. Our room had a small balcony and we could see down to the river.

The weather at times, but that's Melbourne!
