We enjoyed our stay besides the cleanliness of the room.

The location was amazing, we were close to everything we wanted to visit in the city and weren't too far of a walk from Flinders St Station. The reception staff were extremely friendly, accommodating & professional. My son loved the ping pong table and we loved there was a bar in the reception area.

Cleanliness of the room really let it down for us. We arrived and could see the desk hadn't been wiped and there was bits of food all over it & where you put your suitcase. The shower head was covered in a white build up that could be scratched off. The shampoo/body wash bottles were dirty and the body wash was empty (no other form of soap provided like a bar of soap), there was a build up of dust & noticeable balls of collected dust behind the bedside table when we plugged our devices in to charge. And although we booked for 3 people, only 2 towels were provided.

Room didnt get cleaned second day of stay that would have been nice especially having to young children. I requested on numerous occasions.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children Had to call reception 3 times to get the fold out bed set up only to find out it was broken then only one portable bed was brought in and had to call reception once again to get another one for our second child

Enjoyable and comfortable stay

It was great experience in Novotel Melbourne on Collins. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable throughout our entire 7 days stay with the hotel. We love the toiletries provided by the hotel... was spa like experience bathing. Location was good at the heart of Melbourne city.. close to restaurants and shopping malls. Hotel WIFI was good.

Limited chairs in the room. Only 1 available for seating.
