Superb

It is located on the western banks of the 'Padinjare Chira', and accessible to MG Road [Padinjare Nadakaav] and Pazhaya Nadakaav; thereby making it in the center of Thrissur. The hotel faces the chira [chira is the malayalam word for pond]. The ancient 'Vadakke Madom', 'Idayil Madom', 'Naduvil Madom' and 'Thekke Madom',established by Adi Shankaracharya can be seen on the eastern banks o the chira. Swaraj Round, [the hrart of Thrissur] is within walking distance as is the Vadakunnathan Shiva Kshetram.

Excellent accommodation, right place by nearness to city and genuinely value for money, we enjoyed.

Room was really good and it was really value for money. Good location, easily accessible from main city of Trissur. Housekeeping staff were good and polite. Excellent room service. Security staff were good. Front office staff unfortunately, was not coping up with basic tasks in dealing with guests. There is obviously a lack of basic training as I observed. They we found as willing workers and well manured, but were not conversant with basic courtesies like guiding the guests thru the available staff, helping the guests by organising the available staff in settling the guests, shifting luggages during checking-in and checking-out etc as being done in all Indian Hotels. I instructed that a consolidate bill be handed over to me at the time of checking-out & payment made, but the room bill was not handed over even after asking for. Only food bill was given. A bit of training will do a lot good for the already fine organisation like Mothi Mahal. Room service dinner was of good quality and was tasty, but the quantity was too much for any normal man to consume, resulting in colossal wastage of resources. I suggest that the food quantity of each portion be reduced to half and to cut down the coast accordingly. Thereby you can minimise wastage of food as well as reduce the expenditure/cost for food at both ends. Please take the above remarks as points to improve as I am your well wisher. These are in no way derogatory. So, do take them in right spirit. We shall come again to Trissur and stay with you at the earliest opportunity.

It was pleasant but could be better for the cost of services

The rooms were clean and well equipped. The room service staff and housekeeping service was timely and very friendly.

The food options for vegetarians is limited and cleanliness at the restaurant could be better . The breakfast buffet spread is good but the cleanliness is lacking. The food is always uncovered even after hours of start of service There is also no proper facilities for the driver accompanying us. No proper toilets and bathing facilities . No overnight stay accommodation. Please make the payment online else they are very nitpicky about payment and force you to pay everyday .

Superb

Value for money. Good location.Very comfortable and spacious rooms.

Located very near to Vadakkumnathar Temple. I stayed with my parents and had booked a Deluxe double room.Very spacious. The way additional bed was provided in the form of a foldable single cot was a pleasant surprise. People at the reception were very cordial and obliged to our requests. Complementary breakfast was also very good.

Spread of vegetarian items in lunch /dinner menu could be improved.
