The Mentone Hotel exceeded expectations with its comfortable rooms, excellent service, and delicious breakfast. The convenient location near an underground station makes it easy to explore London. Th (Read More)e staff were welcoming, helpful, and even provided a free plug converter when needed. The hotel is clean, well-equipped, and close to King's Cross. The only downside mentioned was steep stairs to the top floor. Overall, a highly recommended stay.

Very good

Nice no frills place at reasonable price in a good location of London

Room was clean and it's in a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Didn't realize there was no elevator. Hand towels were not given automatically. We had to ask for them, and the next day when the room was cleaned they were gone.

A good option for a London stay

Room was quiet and the hotel has a great location.

The 7:30am start for breakfast is a little late to get to morning work appointments and shows that this hotel is really set up for tourists, more than business people. The quality of breakfast was also a little disappointing with the cooked breakfast left to get cold.

Superb

Staff make the place - I managed to spill coffee over my duvet and went to reception and they gave me clean bed linen without hesistation

Pleasant

Staff were nice. Great location with restaurants and pubs nearby, 30ish minute walk to Oxford St. Picadilly Circus and Chinatown. Close to 3 main train stations. Breakfast was good. Room was nice and warm.

Tiny room. The stairs to get to the top level were steep. Only one hook to dry towels and no hand towel. The fire alarm went off twice through our stay (false alarms)...but staff handled it well.
