Desappointing

It's very central yet green. The place is well maintained and clean.

The staff is very noisy, talking loudly until 10pm past and chatting at 6am. You cannot decide when to rest, have to wait till they stop, and cannot sleep in the morning. The other issue is that there's little place to put your things, it may sound like a detail but having to go back and forth to pick up your toiletries, towel etc is not ideal. Nowhere to hang clothes. The room (downstairs) was pretty dark too, and when you open the doors there is a lovely view o the rice fields, but no privacy. I think the worst is the attitude of the owner, who seem to not care at all about his customers. This place has changed tremendously from the 1st time we came 5 or 6 years ago. Shame.

STAFF MANAGER IS A STEALER

NOTHING

THE STAFF MANAGER IS A FRAUD. Every time I added options during my stay (breakfast, scooter hire), he refused to give receipts. The staff are smiling when you pay, they get annoyed when you ask for a receipt. I guess they keep the cash safe from the owners, that's why they don't want to give receipts. The description is of a quiet place, which is clearly not the case. My room was touching the walls of another hotel which was noisy. NEVER RENT A SCOOTER DIRECTLY AT THE HOTEL if you want to avoid problems. ALWAYS INSIST on receipts, if REFUSED, ASK FOR EXTERNAL HELP.

Superb

The staff is very friendly. Even though you are in the middle of Ubud, it feels very nice and chill with ricefield views. We stayed at the first floow which was great.

It's located next to a temple so when there are ceremonies, you will hear the bells etc. It didn't bother me that much but my sister was more sensitive to the sound.
