Fantastic value for a really comfy room right next to a tube station

I stay at cheap London B&Bs part of most weeks for work since I moved to the South West. I've stayed in a wide range of places in the past year ranging from nice to scary horror stories. Kensal Lodge ticked all the boxes. It was good value, seconds away from the overground/tube, super clean, warm, secure, comfortable beds and had far more amenities than you usually find in a budget room. The microwave and bag of teas/coffees was a nice touch and appreciated. It's a shame more places at this price range aren't up to this standard.

Really recommend this room

It was just what I needed. Everything was provided; the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. There were bottles of water in the fridge. It was right next to the tube station.

The key pad for the front door was a little hard to you and took while to open the door. I didnt know if was turn right or left.

Great room, had everything I needed. Nice bathroom as well, it is shared but it was kept clean and tidy. Easy to checkin with a key box, and the location is right next to a tube station which is perfect for anyone travelling into the centre of London like I was. The staff were fantastic, the room was clean when I arrived, but most importantly the customer service was incredible. When I left, I realised I didn't pick up my coat ont he way out. So, I contacted the host who has now arranged for the coat to go to their nearby cafe, so I can pick it up next week. Incredible customer service, along side a very nice place to stay.

Friendly, clean, very good public transport and a lovely neighborhood

The house was spotless clean. Even the trimmings in the bathroom! The contact I had was very nice and friendly. I stayed for one night and all over all I would come back, if I visit London again.

I was woken up rather early by two other guests talking and showering. But this has something to do with the architecture of the house and the other guests staying there.
