One of the best stays I ever had.

Its an excellent property very well maintained and historical. The customer experience was exceptional and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay and a big shout out to the wonderful team. They made the experience special and memorable.

Very good

The location is quite good.

The hotel has pretty narrow everything, feels like a cheaper Novotel inside, as it is squized between two other buildings and has an inner court. My city view window was also a small square 1,2*0,8m :)

Clean, friendly staff and would recommend!

Wonderful location! Close to the waterfront, close to city transit and lots of dining options located behind the restaurant. Staff is so friendly and genuinely cares about making your stay the most comfortable. The concierge is awesome and provided us with plenty of helpful information. The hotel itself is beautiful and spotless. The bed is very comfortable and the shower was always hot with good water pressure.

The breakfast is quite expensive, youre much better off to opt to go without and dine at a nearby restaurant! However if you get a good deal with it included with your stay, it does have a large selection and is convenient.

Top notch staff, well-located hotel

Whike the driving reason why I chose JW Marriott was they had a room with a hot tub on a terrace, I quickly learned that I should have chose it for their staff who went above and beyond to give top notch service. And that service started at the moment I arrived. My prearranged car service (thru Booking.com) did not show up at the airport so I grabbed a cab. When I arrived at the hotel, the cab driver would not accept Amex or Visa or Euros or Dollars and the very attentive bellboy (Tumaton?) noticed the problem, spoke to the driver in Turkish, negotiated a better rate, paid him from hotel funds, and quickly got me to the front desk. There was a small problem with the hot tub (it needs to be cleaned and filled for each use like a jetted bathtub) but Taner, the Assistant Manager, resolved the problem quickly and went above and beyond to make my stay error-free and easy. By the way, every hotel has problems but it is how they respond to a problem that sets great hotels apart. The JW team was excellent in this regard. In terms of restaurant, exotic seafood is not my taste so I only ate once in Octo the hotels rooftop restaurant. Service was excellent but the food was not for me. Also shower water pressure was a 10/10 and laundry service was top notch. Desserts and drinks were left for me daily in the room - a nice touch.

The leaking of the shower door wasn't fixed properly after reported 2nd time. When you spent almost 1000Euro per night on a suite, you expected everything functions well. Disappointed!!!

Istanbuls most amazing hospitality experience.

The hotel is quite new, clean and exceptionally well organised. The staff is very kind, polite and helpful, and the greatest asset of the property. It has marvellous rooftop restaurant and open bar, overlooking the Bosphorus, which made mornings and evenings quite pleasant without having to leave the hotel. The spa centre is also very nice and convenient, with amenities such as well equipped gym, Finnish sauna, steam sauna and hammam. Massages are available as well. Last but not least, being located right next to the Galataport, a waterfront shopping, gastronomy and art hotspot of Karaky, makes it quite easy and convenient to navigate Istanbul, whether on foot or by public transport. Overall, stay at this hotel was an amazing experience and from now on will be my home away from home when in Istanbul. Thank you for your service.
