Hyatt Regency Indianapolis at State Capital!!

The Hyatt Regency at State Capital is a stellar location with modern amenities and at least 4 restaurants, including the rooftop revolving Eagles Nest, Starbucks, and a Subway, a bank, a CVS self-service OTC pharmacy, and a walk-in medical clinic inside the hotel! In addition, a bellhop, a pool, valet parking, with access to the Indianapolis Convention center, The Circle City Mall, the movie theatre, the Arts Garden, additional restaurants and more without even walking outside!

The $189 hold placed on my bank card at check-in! I'm not sure why this process is necessary, but fortunately, it is refunded at checkout.

Convenient to downtown. Easy in and out with valet parking

Close and convenient to everything downtown. Hooks up to skywalk and can get around to a lot of places without stepping outside.

It's a little aged. Valet parking expensive.

Cheer trip to Indy

Loved the ease of connectivity with other areas close by. Kids loved the elevators! Our room with a view was definitely worth the extra charge!

Wait for elevators at peek times. We had to wait almost 20 minutes to get on the elevators when we came out of the pool after the Colts game was over, a whole lobby full of jerseys waiting for the elevators but to be expected I guess?

Over priced rooms, would not stay there again because of all the problems with room.

People at front desk when we checked in were nice.

Rooms look like they need updating. The price for the room +$500.00 per night for what we got was very bad. We came back from the game late 12am and couldn't get into our room, the card would not unlock the door. I had to make two trips down to the desk to get some one to help me. By that time the elevators were full of the team bands and I couldn't get back up to try the card again. I went back to the desk and demanded to see the manager and told him this was unbelievable that at +$500.00 per night, I couldn't get into our room. He took me up in service elevator and the repair people had to pick the lock with a cable under the door to get the door open. It had been over a half hour and we finally got into the room. I believe I should get a credit on my bill for all this trouble!!!!

Great location, very secure and safe hotel.

Check in was smooth, room was ready, clean and comfortable. Had a great view of the street below for people watching. Hotel is within walking distance of several attractions including the Lucas Oil stadium, several restaurants, and shopping. There is a connectin walkway to the conference center and the mall. As someone traveling alone, I felt very safe and the security seemed very good. Room service was great and there is a Starbucks in the lobby along with a Subway and a restaurant. The lobby was inviting with several places to sit comfortably and drink coffee and watch TV.

Walls were a bit thin.

We had problems with our heating system in our room. We also had problems with our shower. It took quite a long time for our hot water to come through.

It was the best weekend ! Would stay again.

Our room was great, the hotel bar was great and the location couldn't be better.

Check in was awful the lady couldn't give me any over her time because she was to busy talking to her coworker. Then when I asked a question proceeded to act annoyed.
