Exceptional

Location was fantastic less than 5 minutes walk to beach and the beds were the softest most comfortable I had in bali the staff beautiful and friendly highly recommend

Disappointing

Very poor maintenance and not value for money

1. No kettle or cups or coffee supplied in room. 2. No running water to bath tub, blocked 3. Restaurant not open till 7.30am so cant get tea or coffee until after that time . 4. The first room they gave me air airconditioner warm air only no cold air I had to insist in another room 5. Some staff rude and unfriendly.

The gardens The pools The outside restaurant The staff The presidential suite was fabulous for our family ! Loads of space to all spread out !

That there were two Kumala hotels with very similar names . The bathrooms needed a bit of a scrub - the toilet didnt flush every time - the shower didnt have much pressure , but for the price we easily overlooked that !

Superb

Affordable Legian Hotel

Comfortable affordable hotel in Legian with lovely gardens and a quiet vibe. Pool area is perfect and really liked that there was NO swim up bar to spoil the peaceful ambience.

Tea / coffee making facilities in the room would have been a bonus.

We had a very relaxing stay at Hotel Grand Kumala Bali.

Beautiful gardens, lovely pool, spacious room, good location close to beach, cafes, shops.

There were a couple of issues with the plumbing (shower and toilet), but the staff were very helpful and friendly in sorting out the issues. I would prefer hotels to provide a water dispenser in a central location to refill my own re-usable water bottle, rather than providing bottles of water. We all have a responsibility to reduce plastic usage.

Not a lot... I have stayed a lot of hotels in Bali and this was one of the worse I have stayed in.

The breakfast was terrible, the bed was creaky, there were no clean pool towels, I was offered one covered in grease and dirt. The curtains are so light that the room did not even get dark No kettle in room
