Good location.

Clean rooms.

This should be called a guest house, not a hotel as there's no reception past 8pm. There's also no logic in room booking. It seems all are listed on the site as Queen, yet some have views of the city and some the carpark.

Perfect location, great eaterys near by and friendly staff

Great location and love the cafes/ restaurants that are on the same street. Its newly renovated and looks beautiful. Has a French feel to it. However the rooms are small. Staff are friendly.

Rooms are very small and the bathrooms as well. Most of the time its quiet but when we stayed over new years there was noise from the neighbors.

Lovely stay; will definitely be back!

The building is so beautiful and that is probably one of the comfiest beds Ive ever slept on. The staff were so friendly and even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate the New Year. We loved our stay!

Other posters mentioned that the walls are a bit thin but I think this is a given considering the property is a repurposed building. The other guests staying were all very considerate.

Good hotel in an excellent location. The tree lines Avenue of Magnolias and Frangipanii

Initial room was a converted broom cupboard and considering Id booked 13 nights and had to then ask for to be relocated then that was disappointing ! Once moved after two night the new room was much better. Lovely cafe just up road la Bombay is great for breakfast and this should be highlighted upon arrival. Reception were very helpful and reacted efficiently with my room change.

Pokey broom cubboard for first room .this was worse than a prison cell!! Cleaning was average at best in room and bed could have been made more often

Over priced not worth the money, stayed in much better for less.

Small dark cramped room . Definitely not a deluxe room as advertised and told at reception. Terrible smell of urine in the room. No lounge chair . Window was covered . Told receptionist and was told manager just gone home . Very much over priced. Definitely would not recommend.

Fantastic little boutique hotel in one of the best locations in Sydney. Room with a balcony was excellent, spacious, bright and just what we needed.

Bathroom was small and poky. Rooms were only cleaned every two days. Meager facilities in the room.

Great

I arrived after hours so I didn't have any interaction with the staff but check in was very easy and room was nice.

I don't have any complaints. I only needed a place for the night as I was joining in on the Sydney to Hobart race

Comfortable, clean and a very quiet place too.

Historic, clean looking and very clean, elegant and beautiful building and rooms.

Would be nice to have street visitor parking permits. Happy to pay. Rather than having to find overnight parking at a parking establishment.
