Amazing hotel in a fantastic location - very quiet too

Location, quality of sound proofing and fabulous room. Breakfast was amazing. Most staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful especially reception and the breakfast team.

We loved the room and bathroom but there were just a few things missing - all drinks etc were included but all with proper bottle tops but there was no bottle opener, so werent able to have any as it was too late to call down, no batteries in remote for tv or automatic toilet that was preset!

Staffing is super kind. Beautiful design and decoration. Very central location. Breakfast was very good. We loved the balcony in the room.

Great

Elegant, beautiful, lovely terrace. The personnel is so sweet and kind.

The terrace door would not open at first they had to fix it; and the hair dryer plug is 120 or 230V so it didnt work from the bathroom, difficult to go with your hair wet in the middle of winter in London. For the rest it was absolutely lovely. I had a fantastic time.

Unnecessary Charges

All good. Bfast, room, toilet are all superb.

I was charged additional cost without my permission which the hotel call as discretionary charges. Managed to asked for refund, after seeing the high charges on my card aa compared to my booking. Was even asked to pay for my Bfast when my booking have clearly indicated it is inclusive of Bfast. Managed to avoid from paying after a few clarification and provide my booking doc. I still felt unnecessary charges charged to me is non ethical and should not happened.

A quirky and luxury hotel in a fantastic location

Luxury in London and yet unpretentious too. Balcony rooms gave a lovely atmosphere and obvious depth to the usual enclosed hotel rooms. Super comfy bed and the air con worked perfectly to allow for a comfortable sleep. Mini-bar with soft drinks provided for free too.

Check-in and check-out procedure a little on the slow side. The staff are wonderful on the front desk just the process is slow.

Wouldnt stay there again - You expect a certain level from a 5* hotel and this place falls far short

Multiple issues with stay - Queued for 10 mins to talk to staff about and gave up - They attempted to charge for room service for some milk as the cooler wasnt working I had said I didnt want and hadnt signed We didnt manage to get a drink form the bar despite several attempts - mostly ignored and when we were served the waiter stopped us 1/2 way through and said he would come back which he never did Flickering lights in room Cooler didnt work so everything in there went off
