Fantastic family and location.

Vinu made our stay in Munnar unforgetable. Very nice and kind family, he also always helped us where needed and gave us Best advices for our stay. The location was also perfect: just nearby tea fiels , the rooms have also an incredible view on the montains!! You feel like a family member there, and I hope to come again!

Homely and perfect

My partner & I had the best stay here. Such a gorgeous location and amazing hosts (Vinu, his wife Shabana & their baby, maverick!) we had dinner here every night and the food was delicious! Vinu sorted out tours and transport & it was so lovely to get to know him and his family - stay here in Munnar , you wont regret it. Best stay in India so far!!

Family hospitality in a beautiful setting

Stunning location overlooking the hills and surrounded by tea plantations. Grace Inn is around 20 minutes away from Munnar and its easy to get there by bus. Vinu and family were wonderful hosts and provided delicious breakfasts and dinner. They also arranged an excellent half-day trek up the hills with Manni, a local guide.

amazing stay

Everything was perfect Vinu and Shabana are perfect hosts! Vinu took care of arranging transfers and show tickets and took care of us like family, it was really nice staying there. The view from the room is amazing and next to the tea plantations,felt like a dream. The dogs are super friendly too, food very good as well. the room is big and the bathroom as well, very comfortable, big balcony. Will recommand to any of you who wants to be in a quiet area of Munnar, with a rickshaw/bus the center is not really far. Loved our stay once again thank you!

Escape the city in refreshing homestay.

Good location. Away from city, but still accessible with a bus. Surrounded by mountains and nearby tea plantations. Lovely and welcoming hosts, with friendly dogs and offer of delicious homemade meals. Also helped us with finding the location and booking trekking tours.

Amazing oasis near Munnar

It was a great location with beautiful view on the mountains. I needed a peaceful oasis to relax in the green nature and that is exactly what I got ! The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. I really loved the terrace with mountain view, perfect to read or do yoga. The hosts are really friendly and caring. We had great chat about Indian culture ! They kindly helped me to book my bus ticket to Mysuru and to organise a lovely hike with a great local guide. I also loved the food offered and had all my dinners there. I totally recommend it and would love to stay here again :)

relaxing and fun stay in Munnar

Its very clean, very quiet, easy access to town and other things to do. The couple running the home stay is incredibly nice, helped me plan a tour and a trek, and the food they served for breakfast / dinner was great. 10/10.

Vinu was a very friendly host and helped us with our stay in Munnar - including a day in a tuk tuk with a lovely drive (his name was Anoop I think!) and the most wonderful trekking guide called Vijay ( you absolutely must do this trek with him up the Lakshmi hills). The location is about 30 mins drive/tuk tuk from the centre of Munnar however this isn't an issue - more a benefit. The room was very comfortable and we had our best sleep in India here.

Food was delicious however it would be nice to have some lighter/healthier food and breakfast options. Please note, this is a homestay so you are sharing the living space with Vinu and his wife so expect company in the communal areas/while you eat your meals.

We spent wonderful day at Grace Inn Homestay in Munnar. Vinu and his wife Shabana welcomed us immediately, and we were also greeted happily by their dogs. The house, the rooms, the living area exudes a wonderful harmony and you feel comfortable from the first second. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, Shabana conjures up delicious Indian food. The view from the balcony is a dream, the tea plantations are only about a 5-minute walk away. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this homestay.
