The Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville is a nice hotel with comfortable and clean rooms, easy highway access, and a nice breakfast buffet. The lobby and bar are beautiful, with the hotel restaurant servin (Read More)g the best food during the trip. However, some guests found the rooms outdated and the bathroom small, and were bothered by the presence of dogs in the hallway. The hotel is in a great location, but the walk to some rooms can take about 5 minutes. The hotel also offers nice sports facilities.

Enjoyed our stay in Asheville,NC at the Crown Plazza
Staff very friendly and helpful - view from the balcony- close to town- prices at the bar and restaurant very reasonable.
House keeping upon request- door didnt close unless you pushed it till you heard it click- toilet kept running-other than that it was a very nice place

One if my reasons I specifically chose this hotel was due to it having a swimming pool. The outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool was only available on a restricted time table.

There may have good features in this property but the fact that it's
Extremely unsafe. Me and my husband booked the hotel from November 2-5 to attend PNAA Convention - a professional nursing organization of which I am the National Secretary. On our 2nd day, another guests opened our room. I was naked and 3 strangers saw me. I was so embarrassed . How can a mistake like this happen. Of course I complained. Did they do anything, yes .. they sent 2 sets of breakfast vouchers thru their messenger. Did the manager on duty attempt to see me, NO.. I tried to talk to the front desk clerk, nobody was receptive of my complaint. Instead, they gave me a business card to contact the manager. I called several times to address the safety issues but no one called back. I am ready to escalate this safety issue on the next level.

Beautiful lobby, bar, atmosphere.
No attached pool or hot tub during off season. No place to hang bathroom towels if more than two people in room.
