Scam and thefts everywhere

The only two things that I can highlight is the location and the facilities. The beach area is well preserved and clean. The facilities are wide and modern.

We were a family group of more than 30 people and three members were robbed during our 7 days stay. 2 cases happened at the rooms where jewelry and a watch disappeared. The 3rd one was at the looby where a family member left a phone at the receptionist counter. The three cases were solved but after involving the police and having prove such as find my iPhone report, photos and witnesses that helps to fight against the hotel staff which magically happens to find the things the next day. Then, at the beach theres a tour operator call Excursiones VIP. Theyre wearing cream color t-shirts and they said that theyre from the hotel but once you ask the receptionist they said theyre not. We were scammed by them with 2 tours. The most serious one was a tour to Saona where we were supposed to have a private catamaran which we have a video of the offer from the seller and therefore a picture that I attach. That day we get to the port and we must share the catamaran with others 60 people. They refused to give back our money so the police arrived. To end with, the food and drinks are not good. Is always cold unless you go to the first hour. The beer is watery and terrible, we bought beer bottles to compare ( attached picture) Same for the cocktails theyre just sugar. Its my second time in Punta Cana, before I stayed in another hotel of the same category which I add a good time and none of this terrible things happened. Me and my family recommend ZERO this hotel. Not worth your money, time or energy.

Unsafe place to stay: DO NOT BOOK! Totally not worth the money!

The resort is beautiful and the beach is nice.

During a stay of 7 days 3 different objects were taken out of the rooms of our family members. We needed to face very upsetting and uncomfortable situations because of this. The staff is terrible. Without a tip they barely do anything. The restaurants are understaffed. You need to wait for a long time to be seated. Prepare to walk at least 10 time to activate your room keys: they dont work!

Be aware of your belongings, after that try enjoying the beautiful beach and resort. This is not a safe place for holida

The location and facilities in general were very nice.

Jewelry, a watch and a cellphone were taken from 3 different rooms of family members during our stay. The service was awful. We spent great part of our holiday at the costumer service desk and investigating about the los of our belongings. The food was totally average. I would NEVER recommend a stay here.

The service was horrible The beach is on the atlantic side , you can not swim. The food was horrible. My new Balance sneakers were stolen The first room smelled like sewage There was no water at night. The AC had a problem.

Honeymoon In Catalonia

We liked that everything was available at the location. They had a small convenience store, pharmacy, and even a medical facility if needed. It was nice to have a beach we could go to right in location or a pool with a bar of we preferred that. It was great to have a buffet serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in addition to three a la cart restaurants and room service.

We are not sure if it was due to a language barrier or if they were not understanding, but since things they just didn't get right. We were told that as we checked in, the mini bar would be reloaded daily. This didn't happen. We had to continue to ask for things to refill. On some items, even after requesting, they still never brought them. We saw their notice to conserve towels, which we were ok with, but after the second night, we went towels in to get new ones, but they provided no face clothes. We asked for this several times, and we did not receive these until the day we were leaving. We only tried one of the a la cart restaurants, the La Toscana, and we were so dissatisfied we never tried the others. The buffet was decent enough, if you looked around enough you could find something you would like. One thing I noticed was that hot food or cold drinks did not seem to be things that mattered with them.

once you get over the disappointment of the room, the place is lovely.

the beach is amazing. the hotel itself with shops, restaurants and bars is just perfect. the staff are great.

the room was small , poorly maintained and dirty. sometimes the que for the buffet was huge! people were waiting upwards of 30 mins for a table.
