Disappointing

Very Poor for a Hilton, Noisy Rooms, Smelly Reception Area and Extremely Slow to Service Rooms

The only positives I can muster up are: A. The staff are friendly but did not follow through on requests, so I guess friendly but ineffective. B. The gym is pretty good. C. The location is good.

First, I guess you get what you pay for and this is a no-frills hotel. The reception area reeks of greasy cooking. I had a business meeting and my suit smelled just from sitting here for several minutes as I waited for my room to be serviced, for the fourth day in a row. Its not like I didnt allow management to remedy this. I wrote to them about the smell to no avail. Then I said very politely that the room was: A. Not serviced by 4 pm the first 2 days B. Then serviced by 1930 on day 3 and C. After my complaints it was still not serviced by 20:20 on day 4!!! I even tipped the cleaners to try and get a quicker service to no avail! D. Because the room was not serviced I had to sit In the reception area which smells of rancid grease, it is overpowering. E. When the room was serviced, the carpet was not vacuumed nor the shower cleaned F. The Hotel claims to be soundproof, but you can hear everything even from the room across the hallway, including toilet visits and when their alarm goes off. G. Our Nespresso machine would not heat the water and they did not replace nor fix it even though I said it to reception. Tip: If you are a business traveller avoid the lobby if you are wearing business clothing and have a meeting! Don't spend any length of time there Room tip: Don't wear good clothes in the reception. You have to consistently ask that your room is serviced (even at that it won't be) Not Soundproof!

Awesome hotel just 15 mins away from Manhattan.

The hotel is new, clean and well decorated. It is a really nice place to stay. It is quiet and the bed is very comfortable. We loved breakfast. It is just 15 minutes from WTC and about 30 from the Empire state building by train. The PATH train is 1 minute walk from the hotel. There was a problem with the heating and customer service was awesome. They brought us a heater and invited us to complementary breakfast during our stay. We loved every part of it.

Just the heating problem was not great, but they gave is a solution right away.

Most things. Rooms werent serviced the whole stay, breakfast was poor and restricted in variety. Reception staff were dismissive and chamber staff couldnt speak English.

Beautifully decorated rooms with extremely comfy beds. Clean and cosy plus the nespresso machine was a nice bonus for a morning coffee. Short walk to the stunning Jersey City waterfront with the best views of lower Manhattan. Location is right beside PATH station so easy access to Manhattan.
