We had a safari tour in Amboseli, and overall, we were very satisfied with the experience. First of all, we were in contact with Silas from Rocktrek regarding the booking and schedule. He was always (Read More)polite and clear in his communication, which made the whole process very comfortable from the beginning. We especially appreciated how much he helped with our border crossing from Kenya to Tanzania. We initially thought we would simply be dropped off at the border, but he went beyond that and helped make sure we were properly handed over to the local taxi driver. He had already contacted the taxi driver in advance and took care of the process, so we were able to cross the border without worrying about the transportation afterward. Our guide, Linus, was also very kind and professional. He was a good and safe driver, and he knew a lot about the animals, so he gave us many interesting explanations during the safari. He was also punctual and always tried his best to show us as many animals as possible. We especially appreciated that he waited for us while we completed the exit and entry procedures at the border and made sure we were safely handed over to the taxi driver afterward. We were really touched by how carefully he took care of us until the very end. Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience, from the booking process to the safari and the border transfer. Thank you for making our trip such a good experience!

My husband and I recently finished our 14-day safari covering Kenya and Tanzania. We received six quotations from different tour operators, but we ultimately chose Rocktrek Safaris Limited because the (Read More)y were highly professional and paid exceptional attention to detail. Additionally, the price for their package was lower than the other companies. We were extremely happy with our guides, Peter in Kenya and Amos in Tanzania, both of whom were incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife. The parks we visited included Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. We are already planning to do another safari with Rocktrek in 2028

Our safari with Rocktrek Safaris was exceptional. Duncan was an outstanding driver guide who made every game drive both exciting and informative. We watched a pride of lions relaxing in the shade and (Read More)learned that lionesses do most of the hunting while the males mainly protect the pride's territory. We were also lucky to spot rhinos, and Duncan explained that although they have poor eyesight, they rely on their excellent sense of smell and hearing to detect danger. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge was comfortable, the food was excellent, and the views were stunning.
