Trip to Udaipur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur
I recently visited Rajasthan for 9 days and my experience with Rajasthan Tourism Holidays (RTH) was extremely disappointing.
Miscommunication and Unfulfilled Promises:
We were promised a full-day tour with a guide at Jaipur, but due to poor communication, the guide arrived in the afternoon, causing confusion and missed attractions. The tour manager had overbooked the itinerary, squeezing two (Read More)days' worth of activities into one. Key locations were skipped or inadequately covered.
Unprofessional Behavior:
Due to the poor service on day 1 and confusion, we decided to pay the package amount in installments, as initially agreed with the tour manager. However, while on our way to Bikaner, the tour manager unexpectedly called, stopping the vehicle and demanding that we pay the entire amount or be abandoned in the middle of our trip. This behavior was shocking, especially since we were traveling with senior citizens. After a lengthy conversation, we were forced into paying 60% of the trip amount to continue the journey.
Upon reaching Bikaner, the driver was unfamiliar with the area and refused to visit several promised sites. Many locations were not covered due to negligence.
Misleading Tour and Unfulfilled Promises:
Despite promises of a full-day guided tour at Udaipur, only part of the itinerary was covered. We were taken to maintenance sites, and key attractions were skipped or inadequately covered.
Hotel Accommodations:
The quality of hotels was inconsistent, with better accommodations for shorter stays and subpar options for longer stays.
Summary of Issues:
- The tour guide only covered government-run sites and ignored the itinerary.
- The tour manager demanded full payment under duress.
- Many promised sites were missed due to poor planning and driver negligence.
- Hotels were inconsistent in quality.
Conclusion:
Rajasthan is beautiful, but our experience with RTH was far from satisfactory. I do not recommend this agency based on their unprofessional service and failure to deliver on promises.

Recently I had a package arranged by Manju maam the CEO of Rajasthan Tourism Holiday. Her arrangements were excellent as per our need, but the issue was with the cab that was arranged. We were about t (Read More)o start from Agra then Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and finally drop at Jodhpur. In Agra, before starting to Jaipur we asked the driver to take us to a nearby tourist spot which was hardly 3 kms from our hotel, but the driver denied taking us there stating it is not covered,we reported to Manju maam, but she also could not convince the driver, we were then droped in Jaipur and then next day a different ertiga car and a driver called Balram was scheduled. We clearly requested for a english speaking driver, but this guy did not know a single english word and he also did not know any tourist place, he was using google to even go to the top rated tourist spot. He wasted lot of our time in searching places. We asked him to take to a good shopping place in Jaipur and he took us 12 kms away where only one shop was there in that street, we onlybhad one evening for shopping and he spoilt that fully. He was not cooperative, neither respective. Totally arrogant, he dropped us at Jodhpur and did not even say one bye. Manju maam, please do not use such drivers who does not know anything expect driving. We take a package so that we dont waste our time searching for places and this exactly happened for us. I would have rated better had we been given a good driver nor being compensated for that.

A big appreciation for our driver Hari Narayan ji, who is truly a wonderful person and a great professional. He managed our entire travel effortlessly, was always punctual, polite, and made us feel safe throughout the journey. His local knowledge and positive attitude added great value to our trip.
Overall, it was a memorable and hassle-free experience. Highly recommended for anyone planning a Rajasthan trip!
My 11 days trip was well arranged. Cab & driver was excellent service. The driver took us timely to all places. All hotels were well picked baring one mishap. I would recommend RTH to all New tourists (Read More).
