Phuket (5th to 9th Dec 2025)
1. Over all a wonderful stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort. Thanks for arranging a sea facing spacious room (935) on the 3rd floor in Tower 9.
2. The bathroom of our r (Read More)oom was extremely comfortable with a huge bath tub.
3. During our stay I loved swimming morning n evening in two of their big size swimming pools.
4. The exclusive white sand beach of the hotel is very well maintained and sfe for swimming. I enjoyed swimming in the sea after a long time.
5. They have two beautiful restraunts and the quality of food is good especially for sea food lovers and the non vegetarians.
6. My spouse being a pure vegetarian wasn't happy with the preparations.
7. The Phi Phi island trip was a big let down and a sheer waste of time n money. The sea voyage of 90 minutes is very uncomfortable especially for people suffering from motion sickness.
8. There is no beach persay in Phi Phi Don island as it has been fully encroached by the restraunts run by people of one particular community who wear their reliegion on their sleeves and are very impolite. It was shocking to see donation box for masjid on trees and to hear quranic sermons being played publically in shops selling souvenirs. There is no place to even sit there as each and every inch has been encroached. One should avoid venturing into the water their as its too dirty and crowded. The buffet food served for the vegetarians was unpalatable.
9. The only places worthy of visiting during this Phi Phi island boat ride were Maya Bay and Loh Samah Bay.
10. The best part of our Phuket stay was the iconic Siam Niramit cultural show. The buffet dinner served before the show including the vegetarian Indian food is delicious.
11. As we were staying in Centara Grand Beach Resort hotel on the beautiful white sand Karon Beach, we decided to stop only at the Wat Chalong Temple, Old Town and Herb & Health Center during inter hotel transfer enroute city tour from Phuket to Krabi.
Krabi island (9th to 13th Dec 2025)
1. Dusit Thani Beach Resort is one of the most beautiful beach resort we have ever stayed.
2. Its two swimming pools on the beach are one of the best.
3. Their spa is also very good.
4. Breakfast spread including vegetarian Indian food is very good.
5. 7 island Sunset Tour with BBQ dinner by speed boat was the highlight of our stay. Its very well managed and the beaches are not commercialised and have abundant amenities. The boat ride is not too long and very comfortable.
Coordination of transports from Airport to hotel and for planned sightseeing trips need to be fine tuned.
We thank Rajan and his team for planning, coordination and execution of a wonderful holiday trip for us - keep up the good work.
