🚨 A holiday turned into a nightmare , thanks to a hotel listed on MakeMyTrip 🚨
On 5th August 2025, my husband Yash Agarwal and his brother traveled to Pattaya. During their stay at Nova Platinum Ho (Read More)tel, Pattaya (booked via MakeMyTrip), a nightmare unfolded:
🚨 The bathroom glass door suddenly shattered, leaving Yash with multiple deep cuts, 8–10 stitches, and heavy medication.
🚨 Instead of helping, the hotel staff threatened him with immigration issues and extorted 16,000 THB under duress, while he was already paying 8,000 THB for medical treatment.
Since 8th August, I have been chasing MakeMyTrip daily. Today is 21st August – yet NO RESOLUTION.
👉 Endless calls, empty assurances of “24–48 hours” that never come.
👉 MakeMyTrip response? A laughable ₹5,000 token for this life-threatening experience.
👉 To top it, the hotel brushed it off as a “minor incident.”
This is not “minor.” Public reviews show other guests have rated this property poor. Yet, MakeMyTrip continues to list it , knowingly putting countless travelers at risk.
We demand:
1️⃣ Immediate reimbursement of extorted money.
2️⃣ Accountability for gross negligence.
3️⃣ Removal of unsafe hotels from MMT listings.
This was supposed to be a holiday. Instead, it turned into a nightmare of injury, harassment & emotional trauma, made worse by MakeMyTrip’s silence.

Our recent family trip to Leh-Ladakh was an unforgettable experience that combined breathtaking landscapes, luxury stays, and quality time with loved ones. We stayed in 5-star properties throughout the trip, which provided top-notch comfort, warm hospitality, and the perfect setting to relax after long drives and sightseeing. The accommodations added a touch of luxury to the rugged beauty of Ladakh.
The journey through high mountain passes, scenic valleys, and the crystal-clear waters of Pangong Lake was truly mesmerizing. Traveling with family made it even more special, as we created lifelong memories together while soaking in the region’s serene and spiritual vibe.
From the peaceful monasteries to the dramatic landscapes, everything was well worth the trip.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Ladakh is a destination everyone should experience at least once—especially with family.
