Hi, I am from Visakhapatnam, Andhrapradesh. we booked travel package from Awesome Himalayan for 18 members including 7 kids. our package started from Delhi where the Volvo Zing Bus picked up to Manali. In Manali the same Hotel mentioned in quotation was provided which is Mountain Apple retreat adjoining to a Apple Tope. Here the rooms are New, neat and wonderful view. The staff and food are also g (Read More)ood. The owner of Hotel Mr Asish is friendly with visitors and overall hospitality is excellent. We were provided with one 12 seater Force van and a car for local travel. We went up to Rohtang pass and the two Drivers also very good and co-operative. Next day we travelled to Shimla and the vehicles and drivers are different. Here the Car driver Mr Takur is good and Driver of Force van is not co-operative and adamant. The Hotel provided in Shimla is located in a valley with steep down but the food and rooms are good. We reached there in late night and faced difficulty. and we returned to Delhi from Shimla on the same Volvo Zing bus which is comfortable and in time.
Overall experience is good and I suggest the Management to provide packages keeping in mind the comforts of Tourists their time schedule and food requirements etc., Since we are from South India, areas with south Indian food are more comfortable and enjoyable. Tour to Shimla is totally is waste of time and Money. The whole day was wasted with dirty Traffic of Shimla and visit to Kurfi is totally waste. Nothing is there in Kurfi except pity Horses. So I, request to prepare better travel plans suitable to Travelers from different areas suitable to them and their time schedule. Finally the women/Girl I dont know her name who responds to our calls in the Awesome Himalayan is very co-operative and caring for Tourists and I thank her for nice response.

Trip to Manali, Tirthan Valley, Solang Nullah
Things which were good.
1. View from manali hotel was amazing.
2. Natural beauty in jibhi stay was amazing. You will not even feel to go out.
3. Our trip manager used to ask everyday if we have any issue. This was very good.
I would say it was a perfect trip.
Few feedback for next time improvements so we can opt the same agent again.
1. Breakfast: Tea & breads can't be considered in br (Read More)eakfast. In jibhi stay, there were having 4 options for breakfast. 2 options were always unavailable otherwise we need hike for 100 meters to eat them. in rest 2 options, 1 was local dish Siddhu. My family couldn't like it much as they were eating it first time. And the last option was bread.
2. Meal options: In jibhi stay, there were limited option for meals. And it was difficult to know what is paid and what is included. We got to know about that at last day when we were leaving. At least milk for baby must be included in breakfast.
3. Tree house: bathroom floor slope was opposite side. no ventilation fan in bathroom. no window with net, and gaps in floor wooden planks. In result, insects in bed.
In Manali, everything was good. But we were expecting that as the weather is cold there and we cant hang towels in balcony to get dried they should have changed them every day. Same with bedding. It should be changed at least once in 2 days. We stayed for 4 days there.
Drive was experienced so we were pretty confident on his driving and less worried when he was fast. But for a AC car we were expecting that the AC should be on in sundar nagar like areas where car is not ascending on the mountains. However, he finally switched on AC in chandigarh that was a relief for us.
