Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

You will be met by our professional safari driver-guide and depart from Nairobi at 07:30 AM. Your journey will take you along the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway to Amboseli National Park, located at the base of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. En route to your lodge, enjoy a thrilling game drive where you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and a variety of other wildlife.
After checking in and having lunch at your lodge, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner accompanied by a captivating performance by Maasai warrior dancers.

Day 2 Amboseli – Observation Hill & Masai Village Visit

After breakfast, embark on a full-day safari game drive with a packed lunch. Visit Observation Hill for a breathtaking panoramic view of Amboseli's vast plains and a picture-perfect glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll also visit an authentic Maasai village, where you’ll get to experience traditional Maasai culture, lifestyle, and customs. Return to your lodge in the evening for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Morning Game Drive – Return to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast at the lodge. After check-out, you will drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred either to your city hotel for a well-deserved rest or directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your onward journey. Our safari adventure was superb! We had a large group with 3 vehicles, and the team from RockTrek led us from Nairobi to Masai Mara, then on several excursions into the reserve where we had amazing vi (Read More)ews of the animals, from cheetahs to wildebeasts, lions to gazelles, elephants, zebras, and more. The drivers were so knowledgeable and helpful, the vistas breathtaking, and the lodge excellent. I cannot recommend RockTrek enough; when we return with another group next year, we will most certainly be in contact with them again!

We was nervous before our first safari, but Rocktrek made everything smooth and exciting. We saw many kinds of animal's and even a rare sighting of a serval cat. One evening, as we returned to camp, w (Read More)e watched a sunset that turned the whole sky orange and pink, with giraffes walking in silhouette. It was like a painting come to life. I’ve never felt so alive and so connected to nature.
