Day 1 Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi and depart in the morning for Amboseli National Park, renowned for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of free-ranging elephants. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside, arriving at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the park's swamps and acacia woodlands, where you may spot elephants and a variety of bird species and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your day with breakfast before setting out for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park aboard a 4x4 Land Cruiser. Explore the diverse habitats of the park while looking for its abundant wildlife. Enjoy spectacular views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. A packed lunch will be served at a designated picnic site within the park. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, return to the camp to relax and enjoy dinner. Optional activities include visiting a Maasai cultural village to learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the local Maasai community and a balloon safari.

All arrangements including hotel, game drives, food arrangements, personalised s (Read More)ervices by İmara Destinations was excellent We started our trip from New Delhi to Nairobi via Mumbai by Indigo flight. Dennis was there to welcome us at the airport early in the morning. We started off to Samburu, had lunch on the way had a relaxing evening at the resort. We had a wonderful game drive next day at the samburu national reserve, saw a leopard, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, etc from close quarters. We went to ol Pajeto conservancy, fed blind rhino, saw chimpanzees and other animals including two horned rhinos, proceeded to Nakuru saw pelicans, flamingos etc there, Masai Mara we stayed for three nights and had two game drives. Could see lots of lions, cheetah with its prey as well as a pregnant cheetah, zebras, giraffes etc. we also saw ostriches and other animals and birds there. We then went to Naivasha had a boat ride with walk and see crocodiles and hippos and crescent island visit walked with zebras, impalas and wildebeest but couldn’t see giraffe there. Due to floods last year many parts of crescent island got submerged so could only see part of the island. Our last destination was Amboseli park with game drive there. Overall it was a highly satisfying and interesting experience. İmara Destinations did a very good job of taking us to the exact spots where animals would be seen uninterrupted. Well done İmara Destinations. Thanks to Dennis and Murray for it
