Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Istanbul
  • Meet at the airport
  • Transfer to your hotel.
  • You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore Istanbul.
  • Overnight in Istanbul. (Dinner included) 
  • Pick up at 08:30 AM from your hotel for the day tour of old Istanbul city.
  • Visit Topkapi Palace - The great palace of the Ottoman sultans
  • Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque - Also known as the Blue Mosque because of the interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.
  • Hippodrome - Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races.
  • Lunch break at 1:00 PM. After lunch, the Tour will be taken to the Grand Covered Bazaar. In this labyrinth of streets and passages, there are more than 4,000 shops: the goldsmiths' street, the carpet sellers, and Turkish arts and crafts, such as hand-painted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, and many more.
  • After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
  • Overnight in Istanbul.(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) 
  • Please Note: St. Sophia Museum is closed on Mondays, Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays. 
  • After breakfast, depart for the Bosporus Cruise tour.
  • Enjoy a magical Istanbul Bosporus Boat Cruise and Grand Spice Bazaar.
  • Tour starts at 08:30 AM. Enjoy the array of sites you can see from the boat including Grand Spice Bazaar.
  • Bosphorus by Boat- a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia.
  • Lunch break at the Turkish restaurant.
  • After lunch, depart for Istanbul Ataturk airport for a domestic flight to Izmir.
  • Transfer from the airport and check in to your hotel in Kusadasi.
  • Overnight in Kusadasi. (Breakfast Lunch and dinner included) 
  • 08:30 Departure from the hotel for a fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient sites in the world.
  • En route, visit the Temple of Artemis, Curetes street, famous Roman baths, Celsius Library, Grand theatre and House of the Virgin Mary.
  • Lunch break around 1:00 PM.
  • After lunch, visit a place where Turkey's oldest art is being practiced: a carpet weaving center.
  • After Lunch, do a Turkish Village Tour. 
  • Visit the vineyards and learn how to make fruit wine with Turkish wine makers.
  • In the evening, you will be tested on making fruit wine. On the way, visit one of the famous leather production centers of the region.
  • After that, you will visit Moda Tekstil.
  • Overnight in Kusadasi. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included) 
  • At 08:30 AM, depart for Pamukkale.
  • Afterwards, visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs.
  • After the Pamukkale tour, check into the hotel in Pamukkale.
  • Overnight in Pamukkale. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included) 
  • Depart for Denizli airport for the domestic flight to Istanbul and then back home. (Breakfast included)

We looked through 5 agencies before settling on D organizers for our Turkey trip (Read More). Initially we were sceptical due to the reviews, but we were glad to have booked with them. The trip was well organised with 2 days in each city of which one day was a full day guided tour and the second day was given free for self exploration . This allowed choice for my parents to rest on the second day since they were approaching their 60s . I would especially like to thank Bhargav who maintained good contact and communication with us throughout the whole trip from the beginning to the end from the visa process till we reached back home after the trip. I also feel that their rates are economical and budget friendly compared to the other agencies we first spoke to.
One of our transport vehicles from the airport to hotel during the trip in Ist (Read More)anbul was filled with the smell of cigarettes . One of the vehicles had an airconditioner problem in pamukkale though the driver was a sweet person.
