Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar
Step into the most famous tourist destination of Kashmir, Srinagar!
Arrive at the Srinagar airport or railway station, where our representative will warmly welcome you.
We will drive you to the hotel, where you can relax and refresh after check-in.
Later, proceed for a sightseeing tour in Srinagar and explore its amazing attractions.
We will take you to the famous Mughal Gardens, lovely gardens built in 1619 by the Mughal emperor.
These gardens feature stunning architecture, colorful flowers, fountains, peaceful environments, beautiful walkways, pools of water, and a variety of plants.
After that, visit the famous Shankaracharya Temple (also known as Jyesteshwara Temple), a Hindu temple situated on top of the Zabarwan Range in Srinagar.
Next, explore the iconic Dal Lake, renowned for its unique houseboats, locally known as "Shikaras."
These beautifully crafted wooden houseboats are a popular accommodation option.
At the end of the day, you will be driven back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 2 Gulmarg Local Sightseeing
After breakfast in the morning, begin your Kashmir tour towards Gulmarg.
The drive past colorful villages and rice fields offers insight into the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir.
Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful hill stations in the Kashmir Valley, is also known as the Meadow of Flowers.
It boasts the world's highest golf course and is famous for winter sports such as skiing.
You can enjoy a Gondola ride (cable car; at your own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg.
The 8-minute ropeway ride will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak.
From here, you can capture stunning photos of the nearby mountain ranges, which stand tall like sentinels guarding the natural beauty of the Kashmir Valley.
After spending time at the peak, descend back to the Gulmarg base.
At the end of the day, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Srinagar - Pahalgam - Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, situated at an altitude of 2,133 meters, also known as the Valley of Shepherds or Trekker's Paradise.
Pahalgam is renowned as a prominent destination for the Indian film industry.
En route, visit the Saffron Fields and Awantipur Ruins, an 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantivarman.
Witness the beautiful countryside and lush rice fields along the way.
Upon arrival in Pahalgam, transfer to the hotel.
After lunch, depart for an excursion to:
Chandanwadi (at your own cost), the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra.
Betaab Valley (at your own cost), located on the way to Chandanwadi.
This valley was renamed after the Bollywood movie Betaab, which was shot here. Earlier known as Hajan Valley, it was renamed after the movie's release.
If time permits, proceed to Aru Valley (at your own cost). Aru Valley is a picturesque spot 11 km from Pahalgam, noted for its scenic meadows and mountains.
Aru Valley serves as a base camp for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake.
The valley lies on the left bank of the Aru River, a tributary of the Lidder River.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 4 Srinagar Houseboat Stay
Wake up early in the morning and refresh yourself for a day at leisure.
Complete the check-out formalities and head towards Srinagar.
Upon reaching Srinagar, complete the check-in formalities at the houseboat and relax.
In the evening, explore the local markets to shop for souvenirs and try local delicacies.
If you wish, you can also enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride (on the company's side).
After a delightful evening, return to the houseboat for an overnight stay.
Day 5 Departure
Today, after breakfast, you will be transferred to the Srinagar airport for your onward journey.
Excellent. Trip exactly as per the itinerary. Houseboat stay and visit to places were thrilling. Could see tulip garden mustard field apple and walnut garden. Thanks for arranging helicopter tickets for mata Vaishnov Devi Darshan.
The agency could not arrange gondola tickets even for the first phase, though booked 1½ months in advance in Gulmarg.

Accommodation was good..
We were six of us all middle aged women…we had booked for helicopter from katra to vaishnodevi ,3 women were stranded as he had given other names…they had to hire a palki to and fro ..it was a nightmare

We came on 6 days trip to Kashmir, few of us were from Bangalore and few from Tamil Nadu. We were total of 21, of which 12 were adults and 9 kids.
We got in touch with Shaan from Indo Tours and Advent (Read More)ures and told him about the places which we want to visit in Kashmir. And Shaan took care of planning the entire itinerary and there were modifications to the itinerary multiple times and each time he did the requested changes patiently and gave us the final itinerary.
After we landed in Kashmir we were provided with 2 tempo traveler for our entire trip in Kashmir. I would like to say our entire trip was wonderful and we all enjoyed the trip to the fullest.
We visited Srinagar, Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pehalgam. The hotels which Shaan gave us in all these places were good, these had hot waters almost all the time and the hotel staff were also very polite and always helpful. Both the drivers (Azaad and Sajjad) were amazing, they were very patient in handling the entire group and they were amazing in their driving skills. The drivers were well versed with the sight seeing spots and we were able to cover all the places right on time as planned per the itinerary. And Shaan was available on call or messages for any kind of help at anytime, which made us further more comfortable through out the trip.
Overall the entire trip was very memorable one for all of us. All these would had not been possible without the support from Shaan and his team.
We would like to whole heartedly thank Shaan for making this a memorable trip.
Also, I would like to highlight that this is our second trip planned with Shaan. First was group of 4 ladies to Chardham Yatra, which was also a memorable trip for all 4 of them.

It was a nice family trip to Kashmir. We had snow activities in Gulmarg. Stay in best houseboat. Stay in taj Vivanta Srinagar. Stay in Khyber resort Gulmarg. All arranged by Mr. Shaan we got what he c (Read More)omment with us.
Driver Bilal was nice and experienced person. Also got the best Shoping notch. It help us to find best Kashmiri product. We highly recommended Indo Tours to everyone.

We booked indo tours and travels for our family trip to Kashmir. We talked to Shaan and although he was really good to talk to, was pretty flexible with the payment, our experience in hotels was terri (Read More)ble. And since he wasn’t in Kashmir, there was little he could do about it. We visited in the last week of December and it was very cold and the hotels were not centrally heated as he had claimed before. The driver he gave us was really helpful and the trip was planned well but the whole hotel fiasco toned down our enthusiasm a bit. Would definitely not choose him for next time.

You guys didn’t Follow the Hotels/houseboat check-in and checkout policy.
You Guys do not follow the Company Payments policy.
You guys smoke in the houseboat. (You cannot smoke in the houseboat room as per the houseboat policy.)
I support you to check in the houseboat first day at 9 AM and provided you Gas heater. The houseboat check time is 2 pm (You didn’t mention this in your feedback)
Clearly mentioned in the itinerary which hotels are central heated and which are not and we informed you also. We provided you with the same property that is mentioned in your itinerary.
Your Budget was Too low still I offer you the best property.
Shangloo houseboat with Gas Heaters 1nights
Shelter heritage with Gas heaters for 2 nights
Queen park Pahalgam Fully Central heated for 2 nights (You didn’t mention in your feedback)
And at the last, you told me that you don’t want to recheck in Shelter heritage.

Well co ordination..good food good stay options.. Driver was also very co operative. Bus facility was also good. Bus was in good condition. Overall nyc trip thnx indo tours✌✌

The food a (Read More)nd accommodation and Vahicle arrangements done by Indo Tours. Hotel booked in Srinagar Pahalgam Patnitop Katra was very comfortable along with good quality breakfast and dinner.
