Day 1 Arrive in Colombo Airport (CMB), En route to Pinnawala & Kandy

Please arrive at the Katunayake Bandaranaike airport and be welcomed by one of our representatives. Head to Pinnawala to capture the sights of giant elephants playing and bathing in the river at the elephant orphanage in Pinnawala. Feed one with fruits if you make friends with them. When you reach Kandy, you can visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. (On your preference, you can visit Sri Dalada Maligawa- Temple of Tooth Relic) Overnight stay in Kandy.

After breakfast, you will drive to Nuwara Eliya, known as Little England. It's the most relaxed town in the country. En route to Nuwara Eliya, you will see several gorgers, and while you are in Nuwara Eliya, you can go on a Gregory Lake tour. While you are in Nuwara Eliya, you can also visit Hanuman Temple & Seeta Amman Temple. During the stay, you may visit the tea plantation, tea factory, and strawberry farm to see their processes. After having delicious breakfast, your travel journey will begins with heading to Colombo which is the main Commercial city in the country. On your way to Colombo you can experience the many picturesque sceneries including water falls. The vehicle provided was very comfortable, our driver Mahesh was English speaking and was very co-operative. Drove very safely. Sumedha and Mahesh together made sure we covered all places of interest. The focus was mainly on places connected to Ramayana. However, we also did safaris and boat rides aside which were great.We being vegetarians, Mahesh chose appropriate restaurants for lunch. Dinner and breakfast provided at the place of stay were very good. On the whole it was a great memorable trip which we hope we will repeat some other time. Thank you Sumedha and Mahesh..
