Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive at Bagdogra/NJP – Darjeeling
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station, meet our representative and drive to Darjeeling. Perched at 2134m above sea level, Darjeeling – or ‘Dorje Ling’ – meaning “Place of the Thunderbolt,” is one of India’s most loved hill stations. Framed by the majestic Kanchendzonga range and surrounded by world-famous tea estates, Darjeeling is lovingly called the “Queen of the Hills.” Its scenic views, colonial charm, toy train, and pleasant weather make it a timeless destination.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Begin your day early with a visit to Tiger Hill (subject to availability of permit) to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayan range. Watch as the first golden rays hit the peaks of Kanchenjunga and, on clear days, even Mount Everest. After breakfast, go on a local city tour covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, and a view of the tea estates from outside.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, check out and head to Pelling, a serene village tucked in the western districts of Sikkim. Located at an altitude of about 2000 meters, Pelling offers breathtaking views of the snow-clad Kanchenjunga range. The peaceful atmosphere and untouched beauty of this region make it a favorite among nature lovers.
Overnight stay in Pelling.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day local sightseeing tour in and around Pelling. Visit the tranquil Khecheopalri Lake, believed to be sacred and wish-fulfilling; Rimbi Falls and Darap Village for a dose of local culture; Orange Garden; the iconic Skywalk (ticket to be paid directly); and the historic Rabdentse Ruins, once the capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim. The day is packed with nature, history, and spiritual vibes.
Overnight stay in Pelling.
Post breakfast, proceed to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Located at an altitude of 1750 meters, Gangtok blends Buddhist culture with urban comfort. The town is known for its monasteries, orchids, and panoramic views. After checking in, head out for a short sightseeing tour covering the vibrant Flower Exhibition Center, Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, and the revered Do Drul Chorten stupa.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to the beautiful glacial lake of Changu (Tsomgo) located at an altitude of 12,400 ft. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains, the lake is fed by melting snow and is revered in local legends. Later, visit the New Baba Mandir – a shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier whose spirit is believed to protect the region.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, drive to Kalimpong, a peaceful town known for its colonial charm and flower nurseries. At 1250m above sea level, Kalimpong is ideal for a relaxed getaway. Historically, it was a bustling wool-trading center with Tibet until the 1950s. Visit key attractions in the afternoon, including Mangal Dham, Durpin Hill, the Golf Course (from outside), and the famous Cactus Nursery.
Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your return journey. Your trip ends with unforgettable memories of the Eastern Himalayas and its timeless hill towns.

Gm, It's been a wonderful tour to Cochin, Munnar and Alleppy with Travel Corp. Right from the first enquiry, Sankrithi has helped us in every way to guide us to plan our trip. We enjoyed our tour.
