Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi-Shimla-Sangla

Board AC Volvo Bus from Delhi (between 6:00-10:00 PM). Arrive in Shimla in the morning and transfer to Sangla via Tempo Traveller/Innova. Enroute sightseeing: Rampur (Padam Palace) & Tranda Dhank. Check in at the hotel by evening. Dinner & overnight stay at Sangla.

Post breakfast, check out at 8:00 AM. Explore Mathi Temple, Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba, and Chitkul Village. Enroute sightseeing: Khaab Sangam (Spiti & Sutlej River confluence). Check in at the hotel in Kalpa by evening. Dinner & overnight stay in Kalpa.

Breakfast followed by check out at 8:00 AM. Visit Nako Lake and Nako Village. Continue journey to Tabo. Check in at the hotel by evening. Dinner & overnight stay in Tabo.

After breakfast, visit Tabo Monastery (est. 996 AD) and Dhankar Monastery. Proceed to Kaza. Check in at the hotel by evening. Dinner & overnight stay in Kaza.

Breakfast and full day sightseeing tour. Visit Key Monastery, Chicham Bridge (Asia’s Highest), Langza Buddha Statue, Komic (World’s Highest Village), and Hikkim (World’s Highest Post Office). Explore local markets and cafes in the evening. Dinner & overnight stay in Kaza.

Breakfast and early check out at 8:00 AM. Enroute sightseeing via Kunzum Pass (15,000 ft). Arrive at Chandratal by noon, check in to camps. Explore the stunning Chandratal Lake. Dinner & overnight stay in Chandratal.

Post breakfast, check out at 8:00 AM. Transfer to Manali via Rohtang Atal Tunnel and Solang Valley. Arrive in Manali by evening, board AC bus for Delhi. Overnight journey and arrive in Delhi the next morning. End of Tour.

The trip was good and I could see everything because of our driver Hitesh. He is (Read More) so knowledgeable about roads, hotels, markets, weather. I guess this trip would have been incomplete without him.
Stays and food could have been better. I didn't like the Manali stay. It was not (Read More) a premium hotel and food was also not good. Echor backwoods villa at Narkanda stay was exceptional but again food was not good.
