Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Chandigarh to Shimla Local
  • Upon arrival at the airport or railway station, you will meet and be assisted by our representative.
  • You will then drive to Shimla, which is approximately 110 km away and takes about 3 hours.
  • Upon reaching Shimla, you can explore local sightseeing attractions, including:
    • The Ridge
    • Christ Church
    • Jakhoo Temple (accessible by ropeway)
    • Scandal Point
    • The Wooden Market
    • Kali Bari Temple
    • Mall Road
  • In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Sarhan (approximately 165 km, 7 hours journey), passing through beautiful villages such as Fagu, Theog, and Matiana.
  • Enjoy comfort breaks and visit apple orchards en route.
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy the natural beauty.
  • Dinner in the evening and overnight stay at Hotel Narkanda.
  • After breakfast, you will visit the 1,500-year-old Bhimakali Temple. Shri Bhima Kali Temple is located in Sarahan, Himachal Pradesh, India, and is dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali, the presiding deity of the rulers of the former Bushahr State.
  • Next, visit the Bird Park, which is popular for the breeding of birds such as Jujurana and Monal.
  • Sarahan, a tiny village, offers splendid views of Shrikhanda Mahadev Peak (5,155 meters).
  • The major attraction in Sarahan is the centuries-old Hindu temple of Goddess Bhimakali. Steeped in legend, the temple complex is a resplendent example of hill architecture.
  • Later, travel to Sarahan (approximately 85 km, a 2-hour journey). Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, start driving to Chitkul, the last village on the Indo-Tibetan old road.
  • Chitkul is a village in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
  • It is the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border.
  • The Indian road ends here.
  • During winters, the area is mostly covered with snow, and the inhabitants move to lower regions of Himachal Pradesh.
  • Potatoes grown in Chitkul are among the best in the world and are quite expensive.
  • Visit the ancient village, temple, and river.
  • Later, drive to Kalpa (60 km, 2-3 hour journey).
  • On the route, cover Kamru Fort.
  • Check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Kalpa.
  • After breakfast, drive to Nako.
  • Visit the monastery of Nako village and the lake, which is at an altitude of 3,800 meters.
  • On the route, visit:
    • Suicide Point
    • Roghi Village

  • Enjoy the breathtaking view of Kinnaur Kailash (6,050 meters), which is considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists in Kinnaur.
  • Later, drive to Tabo (approximately 63 km, 2 hours journey).
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Tabo.
  • In the early morning, after breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kaza (54 km, 1-hour journey).
  • On the way, visit Dhankhar Gompa, the ancient capital of the Spiti king, which is incredibly situated on the barren rocky mountain slopes.
  • Kaza is the sub-divisional headquarters.
  • Upon arrival, visit Komik - Hikkim village, one of the most remarkable places in the entire Spiti Valley.
  • Komik is currently the highest village in Asia.
  • In the evening, check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, drive to visit the famous Ki Monastery.
  • Located at an elevation of 4120 meters, 14 km from Kaza on the Kaza to Kibber Road, the car will stop at the base of the monastery hill for an excellent photo opportunity of this remarkable structure.
  • Visitors will be able to trek around the monastery and admire the impressive collections of ancient paintings and scriptures contained within the large monastic complex.
  • Occupying nearly all sides of the hill, Ki Monastery belongs to the Gelugpa Sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
  • Kibber is one of the highest permanently inhabited villages in the world, situated at an elevation of 4200 meters in a semi bowl-shaped narrow valley.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Chandratal (approximately 97 km, 5 hours journey).
  • Chandra Taal, meaning "Lake on the Moon," is situated at an altitude of about 4,300 meters (14,100 feet) in the Himalayas.
  • The lake is surrounded by scree on one side and a magnificent cirque on the other, offering stunning views.
  • The name of the lake originates from its crescent shape.
  • Located in the Spiti region of the Lahul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, India, Chandra Taal is a popular destination for trekkers and campers.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
  • After breakfast, check out from the camp.
  • Drive to Manali (approximately 140 km, 6 hours journey).
  • En route, visit Atal Tunnel and Solang Valley.
  • Upon reaching Manali, check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, check in to the hotel and rest.
  • Visit the following attractions:
    • Hadimba Temple
    • Club House
    • Old Manali
    • Van Vihar
    • Tibetan Buddhist Monastery
    • Mall Road
