Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Istanbul
  • Arrive in Istanbul. 
  • Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.
  • Rest of the evening is free at leisure
  • Overnight stay in Istanbul
  • Breakfast at the hotel and transfer from your hotel at 09:00 AM for a full day city tour.
  • Visit Topkapi Palace: The former imperial residence from where the Great Ottoman Empire was ruled, St.Sophia: The magnificent Byzantine Church of all times; one of the finest and largest architectural works of art in the world.
  • Then visit the Blue Mosque: One of the biggest mosques in Istanbul from 17th-century architecture. Also famous for its blue tiles and 6 minarets, Hippodrome: The former centre of sportive and political activities of Constantinople. You will be able to see the Obelisk from Egypt, the Serpentine Column from Delphi and the fountain of Willhelm II.
  • Later, visit the Grand Bazaar: In addition to its historical importance, it’s a bazaar that will tempt even the nonshoppers with its rich collection of precious handmade carpets, jewellery, leather and souvenirs.
  • After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.
  • Overnight in Istanbul
  • After a good breakfast, a transfer will come to pick you up around 8:15 AM from your hotel reception and take you to visit the Spice Market / Spice Bazaar.
  • Next, join the Bosphorus Tour By Boat.
  • This boat trip is a very traditional excursion and as we sail along the coastline you will be able to understand why the narrow waterway separates the 2 continents that are Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages, during the excursion you will pass by some of the most amazing buildings such as – the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, the parks and imperial pavillions of Yildiz Palace.
  • After tour, transfer to Istanbul airport for the flight to Kayseri (Cappadocia). Flight tickets not included
  • Transfer from Airport to your hotel in Cappadocia.
  • After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the full day North Cappadocia Tour
  • Visit the Pigeon Valley near Uchisar; then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible.
  • Visit Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Pasabagi in Zelve region and Avanos with shopping facilities for the world-wide famous handicrafts.
  • Return to the hotel & enjoy dinner at a local restaurant
  • Overnight in Cappadocia
  • After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Antalya. Flight ticket not included
  • On arrival, transfer to the Hotel in Antalya.
  • Rest of the evening is free at leisure
  • Overnight stay in Antalya
  • After breakfast at Hotel, drive to the beautiful Düden Waterfalls.
  • Continue to the Kurşunlu Waterfalls
  • Next, go to Upper Düden Falls and discover a hidden cave where its possible to walk behind the waterfall.
  • End with a tour of Kaleiçi in the historic city center of Antalya. 
  • Transfer to the hotel & overnight in Antalya
  • Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Antalya Airport for flight to Istanbul. Flight ticket not included
  • Upon arrival in Istanbul, transfer to your hotel in Istanbul
  • After you have enjoyed a delicious traditional breakfast, you will then have to check out from your hotel room (before 12:00).
  • A transfer service will come to take you from the hotel and drive you over to Istanbul airport in accordance with your flight time. (Breakfast Included).

We looked through 5 agencies before settling on D organizers for our Turkey trip (Read More). Initially we were sceptical due to the reviews, but we were glad to have booked with them. The trip was well organised with 2 days in each city of which one day was a full day guided tour and the second day was given free for self exploration . This allowed choice for my parents to rest on the second day since they were approaching their 60s . I would especially like to thank Bhargav who maintained good contact and communication with us throughout the whole trip from the beginning to the end from the visa process till we reached back home after the trip. I also feel that their rates are economical and budget friendly compared to the other agencies we first spoke to.
One of our transport vehicles from the airport to hotel during the trip in Ist (Read More)anbul was filled with the smell of cigarettes . One of the vehicles had an airconditioner problem in pamukkale though the driver was a sweet person.
