Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1,345m above sea level), where you'll be met by a tour representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight: Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive along the scenic Trisuli & Marsyangdi Rivers to reach Pokhara. En route, enjoy views of Ganesh Himal and the Manaslu Peak—eighth-highest in the world.
Check in to your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring this lakeside city known for its natural beauty and cultural charm.
Overnight: Hotel in Pokhara
Begin your adventure with a scenic drive to Ulleri (2,075m), then start your trek through forests of rhododendron, orchid, and bamboo. The trail offers beautiful views of the Annapurna and Fishtail ranges.

Trekking Time: 4–5 hrs
Overnight: Mountain Lodge
Start early with a hike to Poon Hill (3,200m) for panoramic sunrise views over Mt. Dhaulagiri and other peaks. After breakfast, continue trekking through colorful forest trails to reach Tadapani.

Descend through oak forests and bird-filled woodlands to Kimrung Khola. Cross the river and ascend to Chhomrong, a scenic village at the base of Himalchuli.

Trek through bamboo and oak forests, crossing suspension bridges and ascending steep stairways. Reach Bamboo village, then continue on to Dovan and the Himalaya region.

Ascend through alpine meadows and narrow avalanche tracks to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,800m). Continue the scenic trek to Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by peaks like Hiunchuli, Annapurna I & III, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

Trekking Time: 6–7 hrs
Overnight: Mountain Lodge
Enjoy a stunning morning at the Base Camp before beginning the descent. Pass through Dovan and enjoy more incredible Himalayan views along the way.

Trek through dense forests, then climb and descend through Chhomrong to reach Jhinu Danda. In the afternoon, take a short hike to the natural hot springs and relax.

Hot Springs Hike: 1.5 km total
Overnight: Mountain Lodge
After a short hike, meet your jeep and drive back to Pokhara. Check in to your hotel and enjoy some rest after completing your trek.

Early breakfast and a 6-hour scenic drive back to Kathmandu via tourist bus. Pass rural towns, rivers, and lush landscapes. End your trip with a farewell dinner with your guide and fellow trekkers.

In Kathmandu and Pokhara, 2- or 3-star hotels are arranged with free Wi-Fi, TV, and attached bathrooms. Hotel upgrades are available on request at an extra cost.

They were unable to provide us with transportation as they already had prior boo (Read More)kings, so we had to arrange transport through other sources. The resort and hotels were good; however, at the time of booking, they had mentioned that the property in Pokhara would have a swimming pool. In reality, there was no swimming pool, and it was not even a resort but actually a hotel. Nevertheless, the overall stay arrangement was satisfactory.
Except for Siddhartha Riverside, the food at all other hotels and resorts in Nep (Read More)al was not good. They did not even have the basic courtesy to provide drinking water in the room. At the time of check-in, two bottles of water were provided, but the next morning when we asked for a refill, they said refills are only done after 12:00 PM. If we needed water before that, we had to purchase it ourselves. We have traveled extensively around the world, but we have never experienced such dry and unaccommodating behavior anywhere. Refilling drinking water is a very basic courtesy that hotels and resorts should provide.
