My experience with Thrillophilia has honestly been mixed across two trips. Back in 2022, I had done my Ladakh trip through them and the experience was truly amazing. In fact, that positive experience (Read More) was one of the biggest reasons why I again trusted them for planning our Spiti trip in 2026. However, this time, several things unfortunately were not up to the mark. Some of the hotel selections, especially in Shimla and Narkanda, were quite disappointing in terms of overall experience and comfort. More importantly, there was a serious issue with the vehicle arranged for us — apparently the insurance had expired and the police stopped us during the journey. It created a very uncomfortable and avoidable situation for us as travelers. For destinations like Spiti and Ladakh, where journeys are long, remote, physically demanding, and health can also become a major concern due to altitude and weather, travel planning needs much stronger ground-level awareness and quality checks. It should go beyond simply acting as an aggregator. I genuinely feel there needs to be better verification of hotels, vehicles, and overall on-ground coordination before assigning them to travelers. The trip itself became memorable because of the places and people we met during the journey, but as a travel planning experience, this time around I was disappointed compared to my earlier experience with them.

Just returned from an incredible 10-day Japan trip planned and booked through Thrillophilia, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation we had going in. Japan is not the easiest country to n (Read More)avigate as a first-timer, and having every single detail pre-arranged — from airport transfers and hotel check-ins to bullet train seats and activity slots — made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We started in Tokyo, where 4 days felt both action-packed and well-balanced. TeamLab Planets was an absolute visual spectacle and a great way to kick off the trip on the first evening. The private charter tour the next day covered Shibuya Sky, Tokyo Bay Cruise, and the Skytree all in one go — brilliant planning that saved us so much time and confusion. The Mt. Fuji and Hakone day tour on Day 3 was the highlight of the Tokyo leg — the views were breathtaking and the Hakone ropeway and cruise added a lovely variety to the day. The Shinkansen journey from Tokyo to Kyoto was an experience in itself — punctual to the second, comfortable, and scenic. Kyoto was magical. The Kimono rental experience near Kiyomizu Temple was something our whole group absolutely loved, and the Kyoto-Nara day tour was beautifully guided. Walking among the deer in Nara is something I won't forget for a long time. Osaka brought a completely different energy — vibrant, loud, and full of life. The Osaka Amazing Pass was a great inclusion that let us explore the city freely. The Himeji Castle private day tour was a fantastic add-on, and Universal Studios Japan on the last full day was the perfect high-energy finale to the trip. Throughout all of this, Rajat, our Japan Destination Expert at Thrillophilia, was thorough, patient, and genuinely helpful during the planning phase. Every query was addressed promptly, and the final itinerary reflected exactly what we were looking for as a group of 4. The inclusion of travel insurance and an eSIM for the entire duration was a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated. Hotels across Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka were well-located and comfortable. Breakfasts were included throughout which was a great convenience every morning before heading out. If you're planning a Japan trip and feeling overwhelmed by the logistics, Thrillophilia is the answer. They handle the complexity so you can simply enjoy the journey. We're already looking at our next destination with them!
