On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private driver/guide and begin your journey towards Kandy. En route, visit the sacred Munneswaram Temple, an important Ramayana site where Lord Rama is believed to have prayed to Lord Shiva after defeating Ravana. Continue to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to witness elephants being fed and bathed. Proceed to Kandy and visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the holiest Buddhist temples in the world.
After breakfast, visit the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya. Proceed towards the hill country with a stop at Ramboda Falls. Visit the famous Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, a key Ramayana site believed to be where Hanuman first searched for Sita. Continue to Nuwara Eliya and enjoy a city tour including Gregory Lake.
After breakfast, visit the sacred Seetha Amman Temple, believed to be part of Ashok Vatika, where Sita was held captive. Later, begin your scenic journey towards the southern coast to Bentota, known for its golden beaches. Check in and relax by the beach.
After breakfast, enjoy a boat safari at Madu River through mangroves and small islands. Visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation. Later, proceed to Colombo and enjoy a city tour including shopping areas popular among Indian travelers.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for shopping or relaxation in Colombo. Later, you will be transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight, taking with you wonderful memories of your Sri Lanka journey
