Day 1 Colombo International Airport - Chilaw - Anuradhapura
- Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, where you will meet and be assisted by our representative in Sri Lanka, and proceed to Chilaw.
- Visit Munneswaram Hindu Temple and Manavari Hindu Temple.
- Munneswaram Temple: The place where King Rama prayed to Shiva after committing the worst crime is named Brahmahasti. God Shiva blessed Lord Rama and advised him to install and pray to four lingams at five locations to rid himself of dosham.
- Manavari Temple: One of the important Ramayana tour sites in Sri Lanka, located near Munneswaram, holds great significance as it is the first lingam installed and worshipped by Lord Rama outside of India. It is also known as Ramalinga Shivana rare site where the lingam bears Rama's name. Manavari Temple is the first place where Lord Rama installed and prayed to the Shiva lingam. Vikky Sir, has assisted us during our visit for a week, our itinerary was well planned and selections of the place and interest to visit was very encouraging.
Vikky worked as a true gem for complete travel duration took us to all the main points of interest we wanted to visit during our stay, He is very trustworthy and professional in his work. He look after to our travel requirement and make sure we complete them as well.
Another plus for his side is the punctuality, he was always their waiting for us in the morning at designated time to make sure we do not miss our day plan in a rush but with ease and enjoyment.
He took us to the Tea Factory, and the experience was truly amazing visiting the tea factory and tea gardens really was one of the agenda in our tour and this was possible with Vikky’s guidance.
