• Tsomgo Lake: Located 38 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 ft, the ethereally beautiful Tsomgo Lake is a must-visit. A winding road through rugged mountain terrain leads to the lake, which derives its water from the melting snow of surrounding mountains. The lake offers a different scenic view with each season, from being frozen in winter to a riot of colors from blooming flowers in late spring.
• Baba Mandir: Situated between Nathula and Jelepla pass at an altitude of 13,123 ft, about 52 km from Gangtok, Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple (known as Baba Mandir) is dedicated to a soldier of the Punjab Regiment. The temple is associated with a legend that says Harbhajan Singh reappeared in a sentry’s dream after his death in October 1968, requesting a memorial be built in his honor.
• Nathula Pass (Optional, ₹4,000): One of the highest motorable roads in the world, Nathula Pass, situated on the Indo-Tibetan border at 14,450 ft, is famous for its picturesque beauty. It is one of three open trading border posts between India and China. Note: Nathula Pass is closed on Monday for tourists. In case of landslides or other issues, an alternate sightseeing option will be provided.

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Gangtok, which includes visits to:

• Hanuman Tok
• Ganesh Tok
• Tashi View Point
• Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom
• Do Drul Chorten Stupa
• Flower Show
• Ropeway
• Namgyal Institute of Tibetology

After sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.
Note: Due to time constraints, Rumtek Monastery cannot be covered on this day. You may choose to replace some sightseeing points with Rumtek Monastery.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
