Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi in the morning and depart for Samburu National Reserve, journeying north through the scenic central highlands and crossing the equator en route. Arrive in time for lunch. After some relaxation, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the reserve, known for its unique wildlife species such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Enjoy an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active, followed by breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure or opt for a visit to a local Samburu village (optional). After lunch, embark on another afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where a variety of wildlife gathers. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the reserve. Later, depart Samburu and journey back to Nairobi. Thereafter, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
