The Cathedral and Metro political Church of Saint Peter in York is know as York Minster. It is the cathedral of York, England.
One of the largest of its kind, the York Minister is also known as the Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Saint Peter. It is the seat of Archbishop of York and is the mother church for the Province of York and the Diocese of York. The newest attraction here is a 2000 year old heroic and human journey through chambers beneath the minster. There are free guided tours for the visitors as well in order to get to know the place in a much better way. On a trip to York Minster, one must surely attend the service as it is a working cathedral. Everybody is welcome in the daily rituals. One can also experience the best view of the city from the Central Tower in the York Minster.
