The nearest airport to Piyali Island is Kolkata Airport and the nearest railway station is Barasat. From here, there are shared cars and autos available that can take you to the island. But if you are driving or you are travelling by a private vehicle from Kolkata, take the right road to Baruipur Railway Gate road towards Gochoran crossing. Take a left from here to reach Mohishmari crossing. This road will take you to Piyali Island. The total time estimated during the journey from Kolkata to Piyali Island is ideally 2.5 hours.
