The nearest major cities are Mumbai, Pune and Goa with The Konkan Express and Mandovi Express being the major trains on this route. By road, the best route is via Kolhapur from where you may either take Radhanagari route or the Gaganbawda route. Tarkarli is connected to Malvan by a network of buses and rickshaws as well.
