Croatia Blue Cave, Split Overview

The Blue Cave Croatia, located on the small island of Biševo near the island of Vis, is a natural wonder. Its popularity stems from the unique blue color that fills the cave when the sunlight enters through an underwater opening and reflects off the limestone floor illuminating the entire cave.

The sunlight hits the water through the opening of the vault at the top of the cave. Its reflection off the white seabed causes the water to emit a silvery-white colour.  Due to different intensities of the sunlight at different times of the day, the intensity of the colour of the water is also different during different times of the day.

The cave is approximately 24 meters long and only 10-12 km high, and can thus be visited by a small boat. The ride is relaxing and provides you with stunning visuals of the Bišervo Islands. So, if you are in Croatia, book your ride to experience the most unique natural phenomenon that you have never witnessed before.
