Mukteshwar, Ramgarh Overview
Situated almost 25 km from Ramgarh, Mukteshwar has past of being established by British in 1893 to serve as a research and education institute in form of Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI).
Today, this place is also known for its 350 year old temple lying on the top of a mountain peak. The temple named as Mukteshwar Dham is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It also offers a breathtaking view of peaks like Nanads Devi, Nandaghunti, Trishul, Nanda Kot and Panchachuli.
