Tien Son Cave, Phong Nha- Ke Bang National Park Overview

It is a dry cave located at an altitude of 200m. It is also known as Fairy Cave because of many stalactites and stalagmites shaped in the form of fairy tales.

Located at a distance of 1 km from Phong Nha Cave, Tien Son is a dry cave discovered in 1935. It was named as the Fairy cave because of its exceptional beauty. The caves inside were used as Hindu Sanctuaries in 9th and 10th century and the remains can be seen even today. It also served as the hospital and medical center during the vietnam War.
