Nui Beach, Phi Phi Islands Overview

Located beyond Lanah Bay on the western coast of Koh Phi Phi Don, Nui Beach is a secluded piece of paradise with powdery sand and turquoise blue waters. The beach is framed by tall limestone karsts, ideal for hiking and rock climbing. Nui Bay offers excellent snorkeling opportunities. When the tide is low, the ebbing sea unveils hidden caves under the water’s surface that you can explore.

In front of Nui Beach, a limestone cliff juts out of the sea surface, resembling a camel's hump and head, which gives it the name Camel Rock. The area around the rock is perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. It offers intricate rocky mazes you can swim through and witness the rich marine biodiversity. You may even spot ghost pipefish and seahorses here.

The simplest way of reaching Nui Beach is to take a longtail boat from Loh Dalum Beach on the main Koh Phi Phi Island. The journey will take only 5 minutes. You can also paddle or canoe yourself, which will likely talk half an hour. On the beach, you will see a unique collection of handwritten notes, art, beautiful quotes, etc. left behind by travelers on pieces of seashells or corals. The locals have gathered the memorabilia and formed a lovely mosaic memorial which you can add to as well.
