Kyogoku Fukidashi Park, Niseko Overview
Snowmelt that fell on Mount Yotei decades ago surfaces here at about 30,000 tonnes a day, bursting straight out of a mossy slope into a stream you can stand beside. It is one of Japan's hundred famous waters and people drive over from Niseko with empty bottles to fill them. Free, about 25 minutes from Hirafu, and a genuinely odd thing to watch.
