Joon Beel Mela is a traditional fair where the people of hills go to the plains and exchange the goods made by them with the goods made by the people of plains.
Symbolizing the understanding between among the hills and plain, the mela takes place every year during Magh. However, how and when this tradition started is not known but it was given an organized form by the king of Gova.
